Since getting the Northern Adventure as the vessel for the Haida Gwaii run I dare say there has been a vastly greater number of sailing cancellations than with the previous vessels. To me this is evidence that this vessel is NOT suited to the northern waters. Union Stamships and Northland Navigation served the Islands in all weather with very few cancellations. How come ? Wooden ships and iron men were the norm in the past.

Thank you so much for owning this issue with BC Ferries. As a daily commuter on the Gabriola to Nanaimo, my voice and the voice of my fellow riders can feel very small. Your representation and articles are a rallying point for us, and when we are distracted by our daily lives, the information you and your office provide is a friendly reminder that we are all in this together and our voices are being heard.

Thank you,
Bill Baker

Long time no see and hear. I checked out Coast Sustainability Trust and found your page. I am interested in conerting my ex-Seine boat/Packer to accommodate people for echo tours. Can you steer me in the right direction to access funding that I can apply for to get more involed with tourisium?

The Liberal Government of B.C. supports first and foremost road and bridge construction. Without a proper public transit system in place what are the people living outside urban centres supposed to do? Go on UI or on welfare?
The oil and gas industry has raised the price of their products enough to lower the consumption of oil and gas. No Liberal Government for me coming next election.

Gary Coons, I agree wholeheartedly with your comments considering the new carbon tax.
Tax neutral? The beaucracy alone will only add to the cost and does nothing to help the citizens. We need help with better insulation for older homes, bicycle lanes - not roads to suicide- and make the polluting industry use new technology to bring us clean air and water.
